Has anyone had any experince with these mags???

I have heard of Romainian and Hungerain mags but I dont recall Bulgarian... I was starting to wonder thats all. T |

Just ordered 25 of them from aimsurplus (same price). Cosmo is easy to clean out, just buy a big roll of good paper towels.
Don't 'wash' them, simply disassemble and wipe with paper towel and push a towel thru the empty mag body to remove the excess cosmoline. An AK can handle any bits of cosmo you don't remove so don't be too good on cleaning it. The cosmo makes a great protectant so do NOT use something that will strip all the protectant off. Worse case you can use kerosene. It will leave a oily residue behind which you want. FYI I haven't seen these mags in person so the oil might actually be a combnloc oil and not real cosmoline. In any event, a rag or paper towels to sop up any 'drippings' is the key. |
